We've had some great events in the neighborhood and hope to have more this year. For two years in a row, we've organized "Art in the Park" near the playground at Lyn Ary Park. Neighborhood artists (and we have some talented ones) put up their booths and laid out their wares while neighbors shopped and socialized. Not to be outdone, the neighborhood kids set up lemonade stands and bake sale tables. We hope to do this every year, watch for the signs this spring!

Also, you may have noticed our Turnagain Turkey Trot (organized by the Way family on Foraker) from one of the pictures above.  This year will be the 4th annual Turkey Trot on Thanksgiving morning. Stay tuned for time and location.  Last year we also had our first caroling party.  It was fun and simple.  We all met down on the corner of Illiamna and Lord Baranof and passed out song books.  Then for the next hour we strolled the streets and sang our hearts out!
